D-n-K Gigs in the Highlands a Success

D-n-K (sponsored and managed by Viable Ventures Ltd) are pleased to announce that the gigs in the highlands on Sat/Sun 25/26 April were a major success!

On Saturday 25 April, D-n-K played to a packed audience at the Officers' Mess at RAF Lossiemouth in Moray, Scotland.  The invitation-only event was organised to raise funds for the Help for Heroes charity, and included many 'A-list' members of the political and military circles of the Moray region.  D-n-K's tribute song Heroes Grass is Green was played to a RAF Lossie personnel montage video available to direct download here.  The stirring rendition of the song and the emotional response it garnered helped to raise over £15,000 for the the charity!

The following day, on Sunday 26 April, D-n-K performed at the Elgin Town Hall alongside Moray's hottest up-and-coming bands, Farewell Singapore, Solar Haze, No Name Yet, and solo artist Gary Watt.  We were extremely fortunate to have Alicia Prayze with us as guest vocalist for Summertime and Moviestar!  The feedback from those who attended was phenomenal, and it was great to see so many people turn out to hear the bands' all-original rock music in support of the Help for Heroes charity.

It remains to be seen whether the No COVERS gig will become an annual event - same time next year anyone? - so please stay tuned in to www.d-n-k.co.uk for the latest news.
